Sun Polish Swatch and Review

The friendly folks over at Sun Polish sent a couple of their polishes for me to share with you guys! This is a new brand out of Los Angeles making California inspired shades with a 4-Free formula!

These are 5 and 17, the colors are numbered, and 17 was definitely my surprise favorite! I usually don't wear shimmery pinks but this one had a nice glow from within quality and no brush stroke issues. The jelly base built up nicely and I could have gotten away with two coats, but I used three here.

I couldn't see anything but watermelon when I looked at this pink, and I had been seeing so many gorgeous fruity manis this summer so I wanted to get in on the action! I think it's absolutely perfect with this polish. I used ÜberChic Beauty Collection 9 and Mundo de Uñas Grinch and Black to stamp.

I love that you can really see the shimmer particles in this macro! So pretty! The second polish, number 5, is a classic navy cream that was completely opaque in two coats with a fantastic formula that was really easy to work with for a cream polish. The only issue I had with it was that it stained my cuticles. You can see it in the photos here and it did last a couple of days. I am still new to polishing my nails though, and this could quite possibly be a problem that is common with deep navy shades. Either way it was gorgeous, check it out.

Every time I see navy blue I think white polka dots, super classic and super cute. I used these oval shaped dots from the new ÜberChic Beauty Collection 10 and the roses are from Collection 1. Stamping polishes are Mundo de Uñas White and Tulip, one of my favorite reds.

Hope you enjoyed these manis! If you like these polishes check out SunPolish.com, 10% of their profits go to organizations that empower women in Los Angeles. Pretty cool, huh?
